Dabbous

As I was editing the photos for this post, I started to feel the nostalgia that you get from remembering a great meal, but a meal that you will not and cannot repeat any time soon. From there, I eventually found myself scrolling through their instagram, which was exactly the wrong thing to do. In fact, it sent my stomach into that unsatisfiable-hunger, temper tantrum-y RAGE. You know, the one where your stomach growls at you in a frightening voice that is part cantankerous, old man; part Jigsaw; and part childhood monster: YOU'VE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE. So, you end up standing in front of your open fridge but can't bear to eat anything inside because it won't taste like what you crave and, as a result, fall deeper and deeper into despair [and starvation]. And you know what? I think I'm about to do the same to you. Enjoy.
