Dinan
Brittany is a region in France too often overlooked by tourists, and of its many cute, little towns, one of my favorites is Dinan. The old town is set atop a hill and surrounded by a fortified wall. Within are shops selling Breton food specialties and a surprising number of artisan shops - a concentration rarely seen outside of a Miyazaki film. The main road gradually winds down to the river and what is probably its most recognized landmark, the Viaduc de Dinan.
Random thought on every public garden in France:
Other People: What a beautiful garden!
Me: Oh my gawd, that chard looks delicious.
