250 Main Hotel
During my recent mini northeast road trip, 250 Main Hotel in Rockland served as my hub during my brief visit to Maine.
Things I liked:
As a devout pillow enthusiast, their pillows were the comfiest, smushiest, floofiest pillows I’ve slept on all year.
Malin + Goetz bath products.
Filtered still, sparkling, and ice water available at a station in the lobby.
A large and beautiful lounge area on the first floor with a fireplace.
Rooftop patio with views of the harbor.
The hotel offers breakfast, which in the times of Covid was a small bento with Greek yogurt, a small cup of fresh blueberries, a square of Vermont cheddar cheese, a pain au chocolat, and orange juice. It was the perfect, portable breakfast for hitting the road or heading to Acadia.
My Room:
Snooping the Hallways:
Each floor hallway is its own mini lounge and art gallery, with works from local artists.
The Lobby:
Rooftop Views:
I forgot to get a picture of the actual rooftop, but it has several deck chairs and a large picnic table. Sunrise and sunset views are spectacular, I would imagine, but I wasn’t able to catch any of them!
