A Trip to Mount Titlis
When I went to Switzerland, I knew that I wanted to spend a some time in the mountains, and of all the options, I decided on Mount Titlis near Luzern. This little sojourn from Zurich began well-enough with beautiful, sunny weather, but as I got closer, my luck ran out. Or, I suppose you could say, my luck rang true. As it always so happens whenever I visit any mountains, the clouds rolled in, and it began to pour like nobody’s business. Although no one enjoys these wasted travel days, it does always seem to occur when my fatigue runs highest, so in all honestly, I can never truly look back in disappointment at these mother nature-appointed mental health reprieves. On this particular day, I snuggled under the covers and daytime napped while watching Swiss children’s cartoons. By the following morning, just before the cut off for when I would have given up and returned to Zurich, the clouds parted, and I got to spend a few hours up the mountain.
