Copenhagen

If there is any moment that I could pinpoint as having the greatest effect on how I travel now, it would be the time I went to Copenhagen. Having planned nothing in advance aside from airfare and accommodations, we arrived without any idea of what to do. Although the city is one of the most beautiful I have seen, and although I did enjoy this portion of the trip, much of the limited time we spent here involved aimless - and fruitless - wandering: hours spent looking for affordable but decent food, hours spent comparing alcohol prices at 7 eleven, only to eventually find out that they’re standardized, and hours where I dragged us around in search of an esoteric Carlsberg t-shirt. It was still a great trip, the only type of trip that broke college students could take, and I can’t wait to go back and see this city properly.
